No matter how great your childhood, no matter how awesome your parents (or not), there’s always something you wish could have been different.  Maybe if they’d done something, not done something, said something or not, you feel it could have made a difference in your life.  If only they had . . .

For example:

    • I wish my parents had never moved the family to Ohio.

    • I wish my dad had not worked so much.

    • I wish my mom had told me I was smart.

    • I wish my parents had taught me about finances.

    • I wish my step-dad had not been killed in an accident.

If you’re young enough to still live with your parents, maybe there’s something you’d still like to happen, like “I wish my parents would not yell at me so much” or “I wish my parents would let me have my own room.”

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind?  What’s the one thing you remember, or wish you could forget, (or would like to be different) that your parents could have done differently whether it was intentional or not?

Although your name is optional, please fill in your age and location. Thank you for your participation!
